The IMCA-approved Diver Medic Technician Course equips participants with the abilities, know-how, and self-assurance necessary to safely and effectively administer the life support techniques they have learned. Using the most recent emergency first aid supplies, attendees will learn how to quickly assess the casualty and administer resuscitation techniques. Attendees will receive an IMCA-approved DMT certification from this course, which is accepted by the industry globally.
The Trainee must be fit to enter a chamber in an emergency and maintain a personal logbook in which to keep the certificate and record details of any entry into the decompression chamber.
Anyone can attend the course, irrespective of their background and qualifications. However, IMCA-Recognised certificates will be issued to only students who meet the following criteria:
Trained to support air diving and closed bell diving operations worldwide, the certified DMT is an expert in handling medical emergencies in the hyperbaric environment. It is convenient to renew the DMT qualification once every two years by taking part in a one-week DMT renewal program. The DMT qualification is valid for two years.
